Terocone is an herb used in several alchemist potions in World of Warcraft. Some players may also sell it for World of Warcraft Gold. Players can farm and get Terocone in 3 places. However, you should be an herbalist with at least a levelof 325, or master level. It can be found under trees and looks like triangular-type crystals with light blue stripes.
Terokkar Forest in the Outland, east of Nagrand was seen previously as part of the Bone Wastes. Now the Bone Wastes are a sub-region of the forest. It is well-know by the ruined fortress of Auchindoun. It consists mostly of dark green vegetation. The majority of the Terocone grows there.
Shadowmoon Valley was in East of Terokkar Forest on the Outlands. Most of the geography of Shadowmoon Valley is ash and rock with little vegetation. Terocone are in the Arakkoa ruins area. Arakkoa is a bird-like humanoid with several settlements in the Terokkar Forest and the Bone Wastes. Arakkoa are mostly aggressive to both Horde and Alliance.
Zangarmarsh is a giant swamp full of massive, glowing mushrooms. The swamp was inherently tranquil, and demonic entities have gathered, making it more dangerous. Terocone can be found in Zangarmarsh through harvesting the skin of fungal or spore giant corpses. While fungal giants are mostly non aggressive, conflict with the town Sporeggar has lead to an increase in fungal giant corpses. Harvesting the skin of a fungal giant often yields Motes of Life in addition to Terocone.
Uses of Terocone generally goes for 25 to 35 Warcraft Gold at auction and is considered a good way for herbalists to level from 325 to 350. The Haste Potion improves haste rating by 400. The Heroic Potion improves strength by 70 and improves health by 700 for 15 seconds. It can also improve Elixirs of Major Agility and Major Defense, Fel Strength Elixir and the Insane Strength Potion.
